🌟 Student Spotlight
As you may know, we’re changing things up by inviting new High School Ambassadors (HSAs) or IB graduates to write messages every week, so we can hear more student voices and IB experiences around the world. Today, we hear from Sarvani, our Social Team Lead, and IB graduate in May of 2020, from India!
Hello!
I’m Sarvani, a Social Team Lead at IBlieve. When I’m not helping plan holiday parties or tutoring students, I’m excessively caffeinating or yelling at the TV while watching a Premier League match!
Having graduated a year ago, one of my biggest takeaways from IB was my World Studies EE, which allowed me to study a local art form through the lenses of art and history. I think my EE experience encapsulates the aspects of IB I cherish the most – interdisciplinary study, getting to do research, and connecting your own local experiences to the global!
So, if I had to give a bit of advice about IB, I would suggest that you take advantage of these parts of the program. Also, here’s another helpful tidbit: I never had to pull an all-nighter (despite being a proud procrastinator)! You heard it here first, folks – no more all-nighters for you!
Best,
Sarvani
👋 Catch you next week!
Thanks so much for reading this week! We believe in you.
Sending virtual hugs,
Celine
High School Ambassador (HSA) from Canada🇨🇦
