Hey IB students!
At the IBlieve event this Saturday, our IB graduate speakers shared their best piece of advice for approaching IB: “Be kind to yourself”, “Never underestimate the power of sleep”, “Do mental check-ins”, '“Support your cohort”, and “Enjoy the process”.
It is lovely to see how committed you all are to doing your very best academically! But, as our very wise IB grad volunteers emphasise, remember to take the time to look after yourself, enjoy learning, and encourage each-other.

🎙Community Spotlights
This week, we’re super excited to be spotlighting IBlieve Community members and friends who are launching inspiring projects and initiatives!
1. Aarzoo Pakistan - Karim, IBlieve community member, IB student in Pakistan
Karim is running a student-led Non-Governmental Organisation with the support of students across Lahore (city in Pakistan) and they're currently starting their second term as an NGO. The NGO aims to tackle the various challenges and stigmas that exist within the Pakistani society today such as awareness sessions in under-privileged schools and menstrual hygiene drives. Aarzoo will consist of 5 major wings: Health, Advocacy, Environment, Animal Rights and Education.
2. Precycl - Barbara, IBlieve community member, IB in Nigeria
Precycl is a non-profit started by Barbara, whose objective is to create awareness and enlighten people on the dangers and problems of wrongly disposed plastic and single-use plastic. Precycl believes that everyone should be involved in this movement because the effects it has on the planet can not be ignored.

🌟 Student Spotlight
As you may know, we’re changing things up by inviting new High School Ambassadors or IB graduates to write messages every week, so we can hear more student voices and IB experiences around the world. Today, we’ll hear from Tyus, an IB grad (44) studying at Yale University, and one of IBlieve’s Writers and Mentors!
Hey everyone!
I want to wish all of the IB M21 students the best of luck as they prepare for their exams. Please don’t forget to prioritize yourself and your mental health. The IB is already a stressful enough program as is, and I can’t imagine the added pressures of doing the program during a pandemic. Your wellbeing is always the most important, and know that everyone is in awe of all of the challenges you’ve been able to overcome.
You’ve got this!
Tyus
👋 Catch you next week!
Thanks so much for reading this week! We believe in you.
Sending virtual hugs,
Celine
