IBlieve celebrates 50,000+ hits!🎉 Here's a sneak peek at our projects COMING SOON🚀
Friday, Aug 7, 2020
Hello IB students!
We hope you’re having a relaxing summer and looking forward to a new school semester! This has been an exciting week welcoming our 2nd round of IBlieve volunteers, and watching current volunteers rise to leadership roles within our organization.
We’ve published many more posts from IB graduates, including very comprehensive breakdowns of the EE and TOK. Soon, you will read debut articles from our High School Ambassadors (HSAs) on our blog, along with IBlieve’s first video: Debunking IB Myths, featuring grads around the world!🎥🌏
Once again, thank you for your enthusiasm and constant support. We’re always doing our best to grow as students and an IBlieve community as a whole. If you ever have feedback or ideas for IBlieve, please just get in touch.
Lots of IB love❤️
Imogen & Katie
This week’s highlights!🚀
IBlieve has hit 50,000 website views! The growth and support we’ve seen and received since launching at the beginning of July has been so overwhelming. We’ve been visited from over 150 countries, and it’s lovely to be part of such a global, supportive community. Thank you.❤️
Please keep sharing IBlieve with your friends, school, and social media – especially as schools resume! It is what keeps our team of volunteer graduates and high school ambassadors going to create the best FREE resource for you.
Welcome to our Team!🎉
We are proud to announce new leaders on our IBlieve team! Editors will supervise all of IBlieve’s blog and social media content, while Outreach Leads will oversee our Mentoring and Tutoring programmes.

Community Spotlights🤩
1. En la Plaza – Floppy, IBlieve student (Paraguay🇵🇾)
Floppy founded En la Plaza when she was 15, originally with the desire to help children in her community learn English. En la Plaza then grew to promote community action and participation through the revitalization of public spaces. It believes neighbours and their networks can change realities, and has had an amazing impact.
Floppy now has a scholarship to start studying IB at UWC ISAK Japan in the fall. She is also an IBlieve student - mentored by Tyus, below!
2. IB Results Reaction – Tyus, IBlieve mentor (Japan 🇯🇵)
Tyus is a May 2020 IB graduate from Japan and incoming student at Yale University. On IB results day, Tyus took to his camera and recorded his live results reaction.
Were this year’s scores really just chosen by a random number generator? In this creative and suspenseful video, Tyus breaks down how the IB works and contextualizes May 2020 scores – which were the first to be based on IAs, predicted grades, and school information, after this year’s official exams were cancelled.
Watch Tyus’s video here!
Do you have a cool project? Share it with us on Instagram DM @ib.lieve to be featured.
What’s Next?💫
Our High School Ambassadors (HSAs) have been wrapping up their insightful blog and social media posts! Starting this week, we’ll be publishing their tips and tricks on Instagram, as well as our IBlieve blog.
We also recently filmed our first video: Debunking IB Myths, with the advice and experiences of IB grads from all over the world. Find the trailer on YouTube channel, and subscribe to be the FIRST to watch the video when it goes live on Sunday at 12pm GMT!
