🎙Community Spotlights
This week, we’re super excited to be spotlighting some of our IBlieve team members, who have gotten accepted into University!
Ben - IB in Spain (45), Accepted Into Dartmouth College
Hi! I'm Ben and I'm IBlieve's Outreach Lead. I recently got into Dartmouth College! I have decided to commit to Dartmouth because I love the school's strong undergraduate focus. They also gave me an amazing financial aid package, and as an international student based in Spain, affordability was a very important factor. As of now, I'm planning to double major in government and economics.
A huge thanks to the IBlieve community! I couldn't ask for a better support system. Best of luck to all rising seniors!
Priyasha - IB in the Philippines, Accepted Into Georgetown University
I have committed to Georgetown University’s class of 2025! It has always been one of my dream schools due to its commitment to public service, top-notch political science department, and nationally-ranked MUN teams! I plan to major in Political Economy at Georgetown College, with a minor in English or journalism. Thank you to my family for believing in me, and thank you to my IBlieve friends for all the love!
Anoushka - IB in Hong Kong, Accepted Into UCLA
After a long application process and some tough decisions to make, I’m so excited to be majoring in theatre at UCLA! Eternally grateful to all my friends and family who have helped me get to where I am today and can’t wait to see what the future will bring!
🌟 Student Spotlight
As you may know, we’re changing things up by inviting new High School Ambassadors or IB graduates to write messages every week, so we can hear more student voices and IB experiences around the world. Today, we’ll hear from Ada, an IBlieve grad, mentor and tutor!
Hi IBlievers!
If I were to explain how life has changed in 2021 to myself before the pandemic, I wouldn’t believe it. Virtual classes have drastically changed the learning environment. You might be tempted to lock yourself in your room to hammer out those finals, but, it’s always good to try out new studying strategies!
Changing your mindset is a refreshing way to start off the day. I find myself more productive when I move to a new, quiet, and physically distanced study location. I strongly recommend moving your workstation outside as the weather gets nicer!
And remember, after all your hard work, don’t forget to give yourself a big pat on the back. The end is nigh, keep at it!
Best of luck,
Ada
👋 Catch you next week!
Thanks so much for reading this week! We believe in you.
Sending virtual hugs,
Celine
