IB May 2020 Results Regrade - Imogen
Six weeks after IB results were officially released, the IB increased thousands of students grades, announcing that grades can now be no lower than Internal Assessment grades.
IBlieve talked to May 2020 IB students around the world about the impact of this results change. Students are relieved that their 2 years of effort are reflected in the scores they’ve been awarded. Some are now able to access the universities of their choice and access scholarships.

Community Spotlights💡
1. Somewhere In Between - Anushka, IBlieve Mentor from Dubai🇦🇪
Anushka, one of our IBlieve mentors, is writing a novel! It is titled ‘Somewhere In Between’ and is expected to be published in April 2021.
“My book is a collection of ~wholesome~ short stories at the essence of the human experience: love, heartbreak, culture, identity, body image, race, friendships. The book follows (individual stories of) the protagonist Alisha, an immigrant, who navigates life—while reflecting on past experiences—amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, new immigration laws, #BLM, and the rise of social media.
“The most rewarding part of this experience is talking to so many interesting people and learning about their unique (yet somehow relatable) stories.”
The book will be able to be pre-ordered in December 2020.

2. Inside Out - Priyasha, IBlieve HSA from the Philippines🇵🇭
Inside Out is a service and literary platform founded by Priyasha and her sister Anagha. They have service partners in the Philippines (Kids International Ministries, Cottolengo Filipino, and NVC Foundation) and have conducted service trips every two months for last two years, doing art and sport activities with the children. They also created mini documentaries and for the organisations to use for their own, and initiated a birthday fundraiser to raise nearly 10,000 pesos for NVC Foundation's Love Bag Project! Inside Out also has a focus on sustainability.
Priyasha is also co-head and research for a related project, Project Puno. It is a youth led environmental initiative based in the Philippines that raises awareness about environmental issues through e-books, weekly Instagram pubmats, ecobrick drives, and service trips.
